How do we use your personal information?
The information will be used for purposes relating to education, training, employment, and general advice services.
We are required to collect some information as part of our contract with the Department for Education through the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). when you enrol onto an Apprenticeship programme to access funding through the Education and Skills Funding Agency. The remainder of the data ensures we can meet our legal contract requirements.

This website contains forms (such as the contact form) which can be used by visitors wishing to give feedback and express their interest in contributing content. If you enter your details on the form, it is sent directly to a On Site Bristol email address.

The department creates and maintains a unique learner number (ULN) and personal learning record for all learners.

Upon enrolment On Site Bristol will share your information with our main training partners.

The council is obliged to process your personal information under the Education and Skills Funding Agency Apprenticeship Funding Rules 2122_Provider_Rules__Version_2_To_Publish.pdf (publishing.service.gov.uk) . These rules constitute funding conditions made under section 101 of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 (ASCLA 2009), in connection with the Secretary of State’s power to fund English statutory apprenticeships under section 100(1A) (as inserted by the Enterprise Act 2016)
How long we will keep your personal information
On Site Bristol will hold this information for as long as it is needed, or if we are required to do so by law. In practice this means that your personal information may be retained for:
- Application data will be stored for one year
- Data relating to your apprenticeship will be retained securely for 6 years from financial year end after the end of the course
At or before this period your personal information will be deleted.
